MORE INFORMATION
One-Piece Design:
One-Piece Design:
Designed in one piece to wrap around your head, giving 360 degrees of cooling coverage. The opening at the top lets hair pass through so the cold and pressure reach the scalp, and the stretchable fabric suits most head shapes.
Material:
Material:
The gel inside is non-toxic and odourless, safe for contact with skin, and stays flexible even after prolonged freezing. It holds its temperature longer than a traditional ice pack and does not go stiff and uncomfortable in the same way.
What It Is For:
What It Is For:
Cooling comfort and gentle pressure across the forehead, temples and back of the head. Pulled down over the eyes it blocks light, which many people find helpful during a headache.
This is a comfort product. It does not treat, cure or prevent migraine or any other condition, and it is not a substitute for medication prescribed by your doctor.
Cold or Warm:
Cold or Warm:
Reusable, and usable either way. For cold, refrigerate or freeze for 1-2 hours. For warmth, microwave for around 20 seconds and always check the temperature before applying.
If you want longer sessions, a second cap used alternately works well.
Care and Safety:
Care and Safety:
For external use only. Do not apply to broken or irritated skin. Do not overheat if warming, and remove immediately if it becomes painful.
Not suitable for children without adult supervision. If you have a condition affecting cold sensitivity or circulation, speak to your doctor first.

Cooling and compression
Comfort when you need it most.
Reusable, freezable, and made to be reached for at the first sign of a difficult day.
COLD OR WARM
Cooling comfort, whenever you need it.
The EndMigraine Relief Cap can be used cold from the freezer or gently warmed in the microwave, depending on what feels better to you.
Keep it cold and ready - the research on cooling relates to applying it early, so a cap sitting at room temperature in a drawer is not much use.
GENTLE COMPRESSION
All-round pressure, at your comfort.
Gentle pressure across the forehead, temples and back of the head, adjustable to what suits you.
Pulled down over the eyes, the cap blocks light - which many people find helpful when light feels harsh during an attack.
SOFT EVEN WHEN FROZEN
So comfy, you could fall asleep in it.
The gel packs stay soft even when ice-cold, so the cap conforms to your head rather than pressing against it. Combined with a stretchable fit and fleece inlay, it is comfortable to lie down in.
HONEST EXPECTATIONS
It works for some people, and not for others.
A 2013 randomised controlled trial found reduced reported pain when a cooling wrap was applied at migraine onset. An earlier study of 45 patients found roughly a third reported no benefit at all, and some people find cold makes headaches worse.
We publish both findings. Read our full summary of the evidence, with links to every study.

EndMigraine Relief Cap
Frequently Asked Questions
How does the Relief Cap work?
It combines cooling with gentle compression. The gel stays cold for a few hours while the cap applies light pressure around your head and temples, and blocks light when pulled over the eyes.
That is the whole mechanism. It is a comfort measure, not a treatment.
What makes it different from a basic cooling wrap?
- One-piece design with 360 degree coverage, including temples and back of head
- Gel that stays flexible even when frozen
- Usable cold or warm
- Full blackout design
- Opening at the top lets hair through for better scalp contact
Most basic wraps cover the forehead only.
How do I use it cold?
Refrigerate or freeze for 1-2 hours before use. Put it on at the first sign of symptoms rather than waiting, and rest somewhere quiet and dimly lit if you can.
Can I use it warm?
Yes. Microwave for around 20 seconds. Always check the temperature before applying, and never overheat it.
Will it fit my head size?
The stretchable one-piece design fits most head shapes and sizes, and you can adjust how snug it sits. For adults.
Is the gel safe?
The gel is non-toxic, odourless and safe for contact with skin, and stays flexible after prolonged freezing.
For external use only. Do not apply to broken or irritated skin.
Will it work for me?
Honestly, it might not. Cold helps a meaningful number of people and does nothing for others - in one study around a third of users reported no benefit, and some find cold makes headaches worse.
Try it a few times, applied early and with rest, then decide whether it suits you.
Can I use this instead of my medication?
No. Migraine is a neurological condition, and for many people prescribed medication is the most effective treatment available. If a doctor has prescribed something, please keep taking it as directed.
This is a comfort product to use alongside your treatment, not in place of it.
When should I see a doctor?
Please seek medical advice if you have a sudden severe headache unlike any before, headache with fever, stiff neck, confusion, weakness or difficulty speaking, headache after a head injury, a clear change in your usual pattern, or a need for pain relief more than two or three times a week.
What is your return policy?
Contact us within 7 days of delivery. Items must be unused and in original packaging. Damaged or incorrect items are fully refunded with return shipping covered.
Why we started EndMigraine
EndMigraine came out of a personal experience. After watching my mother struggle with severe migraines for years, I saw up close how much of a day an attack can take away - and how much effort goes into finding anything that makes it more bearable.
We are not doctors, and we do not claim medical expertise. What we can offer is a small set of comfort products, described honestly, for the hours when you are waiting for an attack to pass.
If you are under a doctor's care, please stay under it. Nothing we sell replaces medical treatment, and we would rather sell you nothing than have you delay seeing someone who can actually help.
